·         Song – death, hate, anti-mainstream

·         Colours – very colourful or very dark

·         Drugs & violent imagery

Indie/Alternative:

·         Hipster look

·         Anti-mainstream that became mainstream

·         Orange, brown, blue

·         Real settings – Earthy imagery
